Unions believe they have a huge untapped mine in low wage labour at Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). Even if they are successful in organizing they will not have huge clout. QSR and food/grocery is too fragmented for anyone to dominate.
Back in the day unions for Big Auto, Big Steel, Big Coal were forces to be reckoned with. Unions for Big Food. I don’t think so.
