Apple did their very best to annoy investors with the latest results. Nothing like the mushroom treatment about the iWatch. Buzz says good things. Competitors tremble and roll out competing products. But Apple tucks the product numbers in with something called “other”.
Apple has had a very good run. Are the executives getting arrogant and telling the market that full disclosure is too much work. Why releasing numbers would only reduce volatility due to guessing. Were the executives nervous or do they see something coming down the road and need to be in this lane.
Serious faux pas in shareholder engagement frequently referred to as Investor Relations. Sometimes royalty is just like that capricious and arbitrary and err tone deaf.
